I really enjoyed replacing the decrepit range hood in my older house, which had been in use for more than 20 years. The hood was less expensive than those sold at big-box stores, so I am glad I bought it based on the There were much larger and much more expensive models on display at the big box stores that look just as nice and are just as quiet. It has been a year since we redid our kitchen (mostly). We have always lived in the house built in the 70's, so we still have the wood floors and walls. Laminate cabinets, laminate counters, laminate flooring, black microwave hanging over the range, etc. Furnished in a dark color due to the fact that the kitchen is located in the middle of the home. Having painted all the cabinets white, removed the monster of a microwave, and now needing to fill that space, we decided to do some painting. We started looking into range hoods since I liked the idea of not having to duck down to see what I was cooking on the back burner. Due to the fact that every home project ends up costing more than anticipated due to newly discovered problems, we needed a budget friendly range hood that allowed rectangular ducts at the top and was made by a brand we were familiar with. In researching various brands and models, as well as comparing prices from several stores, we came to this decision. I have been very impressed with her, she has been fantastic. The range hood is probably more of a dream come true to me than it is to others, but coming from a dark, dirty, and broken/dead microwave to such a bright, spacious range hood is something I cannot explain. It probably was installed in March or April 2017 and I have been cooking with it every single day since then (I appreciate the extra illumination when I cook). I love the fan because it gets rid of the steam right away. haven't burned anything yet to the point where there is actual smoke that needs to be sucked out, but I only use cast iron for cooking. When I cook steak or fry some chicken, there is a puff of smoke that comes up, but it quickly disappears. In my house, I mostly use the fan when I make pasta, cook noodles, and make pesto at least once a week. Doesn't get my cabinets above the stove all wet from condensation, and keeps the kitchen clean. As for the thing I love, I haven't faced any problems and would highly recommend it.

Duct tape would be ideal, so why not? This leads to the same results.

I looked under the hood and found that the facia was intact, the buttons worked properly, and all other external parts were unharmed. There was a problem with the fan housing and the My parts were bent but I straightened them out and installed it with no problem.

Despite its small size, the fan does a great job, looks great, and has great illumination when equipped with a good LED bulb. If I had the choice, I would not buy from Amazon again. My prime savings is great, but I don't want you to deal with the headache of having to return the box once it.
