I would be happy to take your guess. the most common purpose of a review is to provide an opinion about In this case, I am writing a review for a different purpose A comment on how this particular item is presented on Amazon would be appreciated, thank you. Since I was required to rate the product, I have given it Yet again, I must emphasize that the 1 star corresponds to my displeasure with Amazon and NOT with the item Let me tell you There is a front loading washer from LG in my house. The drain pump that I had installed about a year ago broke down (after about 10 years of service), so I purchased this item from Amazon. The program ran smoothly Last week, however, it did not succeed. Since the item went bad a year ago I wanted to make sure that I didn't risk getting it again I made it. On the Amazon page at the time I purchased it (mid-2016), there was no warning that said "if this is SUPCO or ERP, tell Amazon, and return it. ". I went back onto Amazon to buy it again but was unable to do so. A big warning has been issued. Hence, I bought the OEM version hoping to get it from the manufacturer. There is no mention of SUPCO or ERP on the one I received. The reviewer on another site says it SHOULD arrive in a box with the label I was not able to find a "LG" on my box. There is a label on the pump that shows that it's made by ASKOLL (see photo). A quick online search revealed There appears to be a legitimate company, originally from Italy, but now based in the United States. Do you think that this is an OEM from LG, or is it not? It is for this reason that I have given It seems that Amazon's site has a large warning The question of HOW TO TELL IF YOU'VE GOT A REAL OEM, OR ONE THAT'S Just a knockoff, is not answered clearly. This is off. It was necessary to install a working washer, so I did so. So far I have done only one wash cycle, and the machine worked well (it ran almost silently and washed the clothes nicely ). In span mode, span as usual. The answer is unknown as to how long it will last. If it fails, as I did in my previous review, I will While you wait for a real McCoy, imagine how it would be if Amazon provided more explicit information about how to identify a genuine product.
I installed it in an LG front loader washer, but the part was not an LG OEM part and has failed after six months. The part may look like an OEM part, but that is not the case. There is no doubt that it is a cheap knockoff made overseas by a subpar facility that is made out of India. My replacement pump gave up back in March 2017. I purchased it in August 2016. I put too much effort into saving a few bucks, and it only cost me more in the long run, or should I say 'short run'. It cost me only a few dollars more and I bought it from Amazon because it was a genuine factory pump. In the photos posted, you can see the cracks that the white colored impeller had suffered from the cheap material the impeller is made of. The pump did not work for this reason. In other words, the impeller simply broke off and the pump became In addition to the missing mounting holes, the pump did not match up with the original mounting locations either, but otherwise, it bolted up perfectly. When searching for a new pump, do yourself a favor and purchase the OEM replacement pump instead of spending a few dollars more. This is where you will find them Incorporates the following.
There is a weak link between the washer and dryer in my This pump causes a lot of ruckus, making an absolutely wild ruckus after only a short period of time. The original pump made a lot of noise and failed after four years. Fortunately, I got a bit luckier this time around. It will cost you less than twenty dollars It was the quietest of the three pumps that I got for four dollars. It's actually possible to watch TV now that the machine in the kitchen is running. The package does not say "LG" anywhere, but so far I'm satisfied. I'm not 100 percent sure this is an original component, since it doesn't state so anywhere except on the package. When it comes to installation, I found a quick method that worked for me Now that I have tried it twice, I flipped the washer upside down, unscrewed the white plastic bottom (needs to use the drill with a screwdriver bit), then At the bottom, there was an electrical box with a lot of wires attached, which I didn't try to disconnect. As a result, it was difficult to miss the pump, and the unit could be quickly replaced by unscrewing three screws and pulling two wires. To put the plastic bottom back on, I had to make sure the two rods lined up with the tubes on the drum (this is sort of a stabilization rod). As I stated, I probably sounded a lot more complex than it is. It is all quite intuitive if you have a little bit of knowledge.
Tip number one. Taking pictures or videos is an excellent idea. Do not disconnect wires, hoses, or connectors before you do so. In other words. The thing is, I dislike DIY stuff, but I did not want to spend over $ 1000 on a new LG washer. It was a cheap part. My order was placed on a Friday night, and I received it the following morning. Saturday is a weekend. The price is still $20 below what you would find You need this for the left pump if your LG WM2487HRMA runs at 24 watts. The pump on the left is quite different from the one on the right. I swapped that out first. A pump on the left is housed in a plastic housing that can be removed and replaced The use of. In an effort to simplify the installation of the hose clamps, I made a note that the one connecting the drum to the pump is a bit difficult to re-install According to me, this is an attachment. Adding one extra step to the equation cost me one more. It took me about 5 hours to install this unit since I had to take everything apart a second time and switch the drain pump and recirculation pump. It would have taken about 1 hour otherwise. It will take five hours. You may need a wet/dry shop vac, you will need to follow the instructions to suck out the water from the drain hose, otherwise you will have a puddle all over. Using the lowest spine/rinse cycle will fill the shop vac and then some, so you will have to make two trips to the dump to get rid of It is also helpful to have a bright light. A helper is also needed. We have about eight Budlights as well. I guess that makes sense. I will at least get through Black Friday with $1000 saved.
