I'm soooo glad. There are two reasons why I bought this My Samsung refrigerator's ice maker is a piece of trash and doesn't make ice well, and we spend a lot of time doing things that require ice, so after hearing a coworker talk about how great his ice maker is, I bought one. I cleaned it first, and then tried to reassemble During my two hours on 10, I ran it as follows Mix 1 tablespoon of white vinegar with 1 tablespoon of Having completed that step, I ran fresh water through the filter for a couple cycles and put my tiny fish on the ice cubes for a taste test. This was a successful attempt. Since I have been running this machine for roughly 2 weeks, I can see that it produces ice as it should. I never received a complaint. I'd be very unhappy about the unit's scoop if I were to sing out one issue to criticize. do not see it lasting very long, but I did not buy it because of First dumps of ice are typically not as "quality" as the later dumps, but after that you should be able to expect better ice. In all fairness, it does need 7 minutes to get as cold as it needs to make ice cubes, but it still In 7 minutes, you will have ice cubes. So when I fill my coolers, I restock the refrigerator with ice, and my wife has started bagging ice to keep handy, I get to keep everything iced up and fresh. I am completely satisfied with it in the end. In the event of a change, I will update.

A small and a large ice bullet can be produced. took about 8 minutes until the first ice pieces were produced. As for the instruction booklet, it is brief, but written in fairly good English. I did not find the small pieces to melt quickly, so I prefer the large pieces. I ran the cleaning cycle first, but there was little explanation of how it worked. It seemed to run forever for the clean cycle. was able to stop it by shutting off the power. So that I would not have to contract a plumber to run a line for an ice maker built in, I opted for this Ice makers have heaters so that the ice can separate from the coils when they're built in. The compressor was quick to fill a bowl of ice to put in the freezer after starting up, but the bullets tend to freeze together into a solid lump once they're in there. You might be able to put them in an ice bucket for a party or gathering. If you wanted, you could take the icemaker along with you, but the instruction manual says to let it sit upright for twenty-four hours first. It seems that if this is not done, then the refrigerant in the small compressor may not settle into its reservoir and this can cause the compressor to be damaged. Therefore, you would need to keep it upright when transporting it, and you should wait 24 hours before using it again. The idea of lugging it around does not appeal to me. The appliance will stay mounted on a kitchen counter top while it is operating. There is one small flaw, which is that the drain plug is located on the bottom of the device and not conveniently placed, but that should not be a dealbreaker. Isobutane is used as a refrigerant in the icemaker. Even though isobutane is flammable, as long as you don't pierce the coolant lines, you should never experience a problem with a fire. These instructions make it very clear how to do this. Isobutane or some other flammable hydrocarbon is a common refrigerant used for small chest freezers or portable ice machines. Overall, I am pleased with the product it is of good quality, well-made, does what it claims, and suits my purposes.

This is a great ice maker because it really produces a lot of ice. Nonetheless, storing this in a little corner is so much easier, and I can store it away whenever I don't want it cluttering up my counter. It's also really easy to use just put it in a corner and repeat the process. This product is just as good as Cuisinart, but its price is far more reasonable. Having ice in the freezer is such a comfort for guests to have when they come to visit, I am so happy about it.

I love it! In a nutshell, I chose this little guy to go on the front porch extension for when my parents, myself, and our guests hang out on the front porch to relax and chill )This icemaker makes ice SO FAST it's mind-boggling. My first load took six and a half minutes from the time I added water through to it being completed. This meant it produced enough ice to fill 2 8 ounce glasses (1/3 of each glass was filled with ice) per load of ice. During an hour 34 minute period, I was able to produce 11lbs of high quality beef in 1 hour 34 minutes. The ice in this cup is 9 ounces! You have to keep in mind that this result was produced by I added nine ounces of water to the ice maker. Wow! I was floored at what I discovered! In the process of doing all that, the appliance never got too hot to touch at all, it only got warm at best, and during the process you could only hear the initial water circulation part of the process and the drop of ice cubes into the internal basket about every 6ish minutes. Moreover, the appliance comes with an ice scoop, offers the ability to create small or large bullet shaped ice cubes, as well as an indicator for low water level and full ice basket It'll get lots of use on the porch, I'm sure - **) I'm already excited about how much use this little guy will get You can be sure there will be a lot to do! I'll give you an update in a few weeks as we work our way through these upcoming summer days in North Carolina.

You can select between large or small sizes. I like this ice maker because it's very fast and you can choose a size that fits your counter perfectly.

Although it is a little slow in making ice, I think that is why it works so well. Given this hot 110-degree heat wave we've been experiencing, it has been quite helpful. I look forward to summer fun with the ice maker because it makes two sizes of ice that are perfect for summer. Because it is very affordable and it is ideal for the job it is bought for, this product is my recommendation.
