The description states that you can wait up to 15 minutes for fresh ice but that is completely As for the actual unit, it is fantastic, which is why I gave it 4 stars, but I am deducting one star because they claim that you can fill up a bin with ice in 15 minutes, but that can't be true. Yes, you'll have enough ice in that time for a drink or two, but don't expect to run this machine for more than 6 hours We recommend you stop if you need a gallon of ice. Not a big deal, but not a big convenience for me. Although it is stated in the product description that it is made to make ice, not store ice, one would think that it would keep it cold long enough for the ice to fill the basket. I will explain how to move around the wet ice sticking together in the freezer, as it's not a major issue. As a whole, I like it and would purchase it again if I had the opportunity.
