It doesn't seem likely to me. In the instructions, it is specifically stated that water is to be used ONLY. It would be nice to have some caffeine-infused ice cubes though.

I used the ice maker for the first time a few minutes after I cleaned the insides to get rid of all the factory muck. It's been a long day, but the ice cubes are looking great. If I needed an ice maker long-term, I may consider returning and buying another machine, but since I won't need this for long, I will likely.

The concept is very appealing to me Having named our ice maker Vanilla, we thought it would fit the theme. In any case, I would have returned the box if I had not accidentally used it while moving. There is no full freezing of the ice. The small cube setting freezes the ice better than the large setting, but the cubes are the consistency of broken glass and the ice bin does not keep the new ice cold enough- it's icy at the top and a melted rock under it. 7 minutes is all it takes to make 9 cubes. I love it! But I'd rather wait a couple more minutes and make actual ice instead. I followed the instructions to a T, using the right water at the right temperature, keeping it upright, and all that good stuff, and it still does not work. Keeping it until I can buy a new one because I can't open the ice tray myself (my handicap does not allow me to do so at the moment) and I cannot afford to buy a different one. Wet ice sticks together even after it is melted. THROW IT AWAY! I love it! I used it for a few days before it suddenly didn't work anymore.
