Questions & Answers
Just received my ice maker yesterday and I am pouring it in and water starts pouring out of the bottom. I did not want to go through the hassle of sending it back, so I looked inside the rear vents with a flashlight and found the silicone rubber hose was disconnected from the water tank. To fix the issue, I removed the stainless panel at the back of the car, connected the hose and nylon zip tie that held the panel in place, and then installed it again. I don't see any leaks anymore. I recommend paying attention to the rear panel when reassembling because it can be tricky to get everything aligned perfectly. The stainless steel phillips head screws for that panel are the only screws that need to be removed. On the rear of the unit, at the vent on the right (looking at it from behind), one can see the hose and connection. A flashlight is a good way to see through the vent. There seems to be a need for new quality control
The normal thing to do is just to turn it on and let it run for a while
The process of making ice requires you to manually add water and would melt if not used. As ice is made and not used, it is recycled through the system to make more ice. You It just "chooses" along making ice all day long for us... We love it. This is just something we use up all the time.
During the summer months in Florida, we place ours outside in the shade and it appears to work. If there is direct sunlight, it might be a different story.

And that was the last time I used it. Our technician had to come to our location for every "code" the machine displayed, based on Trouble Shooting pages. Is that true? What is the best way to get someone to work in this field. This is not worth your money! NEW REVIEW
The Euhomy class is a very special one This company sent us a replacement unit as a result of it being an issue with the original We have also been checked on by them. I am delighted with the outcome of the replacement unit! there are going to be problems from time to time. It is true. It is important to determine how those problems will be handled, not just how they will be fixed. The things that were wrong with Euhomy had to be made Then they did it! I appreciate your support.
The ice makers at Costco were too small for our home bar area and only made enough ice for two people, so I am looking for something else. A total of 4 drinks were consumed. It was important for me to find something with more capacity and a little more space. There are two ice makers in this household. Each one is about twice as large as the other. The first thing you'll notice is the weight and the fact that it is well made, not plastic. As well as being quiet, this icemaker produces a lot of ice. Ice is made quickly, the ice basket is filled, and then it shuts off on its own. Ice that melts in the system is reintroduced into the system, there is no need for draining. In addition, it holds almost a gallon of water and is easy to fill. water and I am very pleased with the quality of the ice. This is not the case with refrigerator made ice. I highly recommend it.
Based on the reviews, I ordered this unit. The unit was received on November 27. The unit should be plugged in following the instructions. Florida is a hot climate where the ambient temperature ranges from 60 to 80 degrees. There are 80F in the air. Describe the temperature of the environment. It was 84 degrees on the icemaker, and 77 degrees in the house. Temp was measured at room temperature after the unit was turned on. A gyroscope was attached to the unit as it ran. After waiting about 20 minutes, I was able to enter. Neither ice nor ice cubes were being made. A temperature of 75 degrees has led to the need to exchange this unit. Those temperatures are outside of the specification (no higher than 86 degrees F). As soon as the unit is turned on, it measures the warmth of air. About 45 minutes is enough time for the unit to run. It was like ice cream on a hot day. You need to be patient for it to become CLEAR ice.
In our fridge, we had an ice maker problem and were quoted more than $800 for repairs. Due to the fact that the refrigerator is still relatively new, I could not possibly justify replacing it or paying that much for repair simply to get The ice maker did not work very well even when it did work. It was always jamming up and never made enough ice. As a result, we decided to try this to fix both issues. When the unit arrived, we followed the instructions, which state to allow it to rest for one day. After the coolant has settled and the unit has reached ambient temperature, the unit should be left for 2 hours. We were unable to get the unit to work because of an issue. Initially, I was able to operate it but it didn't produce any ice. I contacted the seller and they sent me With the second one, you can make quite a bit of ice fairly quickly, which is really fascinating due to the fact that it doesn't use a flat tray for ice. In this device, water is poured onto a vertical tray and allowed to freeze. As it makes quite a bit of ice, the ice in the bin froze after I put the bin in my freezer. I simply used a butter knife to make a slight adjustment, and it was just fine. My impression is that this will solve both of our problems for 1/4 of the repair price. However, I can't talk about longevity since the unit is only a few days old, but if the unit goes down before I finish my review, I will update my review.
My husband and I have recently purchased a few portable power stations to power fans at our camping location. Next, I wanted to purchase an ice maker to take advantage of those batteries, especially if the use time could be extended if a solar panel was used. In addition to making ice, the system also provides a variety of other benefits In the In addition to the video game, I wanted to introduce a few fun activities to the kids, The following pros It's portable in a fair amount of ways - At $170, this is a great value. - Very fast to make ice (first cube came out in only 14 minutes while testing at home) - Ice can be stored for up to 40 lbs, however, it uses two bags of ice per week. To do that, you will need 6A to do so (about 299W)* Uses only one at a time. I need to make 6A of ice. This translates to 184W*. This power station can be used with my 300W and 500W battery stations (i. e. Jackery, nrgGo, Suaoki, Rockpals, Goal Zero, and Suaoki)* A great accessory to wear at parties or (in my case) at a campsite, and it's also easy to re-use I like it, it's professional and looks great *fr- The material feels solid and nice to the touch*- A liquid nitrogen system is used to melt ice cubes for further use* - CONS - Ease of use and ease of use For some, it might seem pricey, especially if a bag of ice could be purchased in the store and kept cold for a day or two in an insulated cooler.
TIPS
- you're going to use this ice maker with a portable battery-powered station, make sure it will produce a continuous 300W of power and has a huge enough peak power for the initial power supply With my setup, I was able to power the ice maker for at least one hour. My battery of 500W lasted for five hours before it was drained, but this can be extended if you use a high-quality charge controller Panels that generate a lot of solar power or daisy chains Several power stations can be chained together (such as those that can be achieved by some Goal Zero models). The ice maker itself was quite satisfactory, and I would recommend it. Battery power stations enabled it to make ice fairly quickly and to be powered by battery power. I'm not suggesting you bring such a large, expensive device out camping, but it's nice to be able to get ice whenever you need it by using a solar panel.
