Questions & Answers

What are the dimensions of the inside?

It was only delivered today, but just by looking at it, I can tell it's something special. The first level shelf is about 18" from the top (with the motor hidden underneath), and the second half is about 2". 5'. Enough to meet our requirements.

The product information states that the capacity is 7 cubic feet, but the capacity is only 3 cubic feet on days. 5 cubic feet of space Please tell me which side of the story is correct. ?

On this page, you will find a variety of models - from 3. From 5 to 7 cubic feet

I'd like to put casters on my feet. Do you have any in stock or can you recommend some that will work with this freezer? Please accept my gratitude. ?

I recently bought a movers dolly with a one-year warranty from Harbor Tool. I took the top off and placed my freezer on top of it. I needed to level it out a little more, so I used a scrap of trim board I had on hand. Because the freezer is in my basement, it was a very cost-effective and hassle-free solution.

This is the first time I've ever had one. Is a hose required for water drainage?

A small tray, a flat tub, or even a big cookie sheet will suffice. If you need to scrape (which should have been provided), it can be scooped out before draining to save water. In 9 months, there was only a 1/4 inch of growth. I went to a friend who had drained his, and he had been doing it for three years and had called me to see how it was going, and he only had about a half inch. We solved the problem by placing a small pan underneath.

A coolant called cyclopenltane is used
3/5

flammable, explosive, and toxic are all terms used to describe substances that are flammable, explosive, and toxic What the hell is going on here? It's extremely dangerous. The fact that this freezer uses a highly flammable, explosive, and toxic gas as a coolant is not mentioned anywhere in the description. On the box, there are warnings about sterilization and pregnancy safety, as well as DANGER signs all over the unit. It doesn't appear to have been mentioned in any of the reviews. However, there are warnings all over the cardboard box, as well as a large CYCLOPENTANE warning (google it) on the outside of the freezer and more warnings inside the freezer when you receive it. It's quite frightening. Amazon - Why is this product allowed to be sold at all if it is so dangerous? And, because it was made in China, it had to travel a long distance in a shipping box, getting banged up. I'm hesitant to plug it in because of the numerous warning signs. flammable refrigerant should not be punctured. br>Extremely efficient in terms of energy use - Yes, but at what price? Buyer beware. br>br>I came across this while googlingbr>The following acute (short-term) health effects may occur immediately or shortly after exposure to Cyclopentane: * Skin irritation and burns can result from contact. * It is possible that the vapor will irritate your eyes, nose, or throat. * You may become dizzy, lightheaded, or pass out as a result of being exposed. ICSC 0353 ICSC 0353 ICSC 0353 ICSC 0353 ICSC 0353 ICSC 03 CYCLOPENTANE is a type of cyclopentanoid that is found Flammable to the extreme. Heating will result in a rise in pressure, which could lead to a burst pipe. Vapour/air mixtures can cause explosions. br>Reread the last paragraph. EXPLOSIVE VAPOR/AIR COMBINATIONS But, I suppose, you have to pass out first, so it might be a painless way out? Holy OMG. br>According to the manual, the unit should not be placed where it will be exposed to temperatures of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher. This isn't going to fit in my Arizona garage. Make sure you don't get a faulty one or one that's been knocked around a little too much during shipping.

This is a game changer! 😌

It was a lifesaver to have this chest freezer on hand. My boyfriend and I kept stuffing our fridge to the point where we had to call maintenance to repair the frosted-over freezer. We decided it was time to get a chest freezer because we buy our meat in bulk, and it has done a fantastic job of storing pounds upon pounds of seafood, pork belly, steaks, shortribs, and whatever else we can think of (literally, if you can think of it, we probably have it). So that it would match our countertops and cabinets, I covered it with wallpaper stickers. br>One thing that bothered us (possibly due to the seller's fault) was that we requested delivery to our door, but it was instead left in the locker rooms. We had to rent a dolley from Home Depot to transport it up to our apartment because it was too big to fit in my Honda Civic. We couldn't carry the box because it was too big for either of us (and I'm hopelessly weak). I'm sure the delivery crews are well-equipped to handle such deliveries. )br>And there was a huge dent on the side of the vent when we finally opened it! We had to yank it out of the wall because it had become tangled in the wire. (We covered it with tape because we had already gone to such lengths to bring it up and didn't want to repackage and return it. ) br>Aside from a few minor flaws and mishaps, this thing does a fantastic job of holding a large amount of food!.

OK, but there are some issues: it works fine and cools well, but the lid gasket does not seal perfectly, so there is some condensation around the lid
3/5

I got a partial (50%) refund from the seller but they haven't told me where I can get a replacement gasket yet. Would I buy one from an online store again? NO! Would I buy this one from a big box store in the hopes of finding a replacement part or unit? Yes.

Freezer with a capacity of 0 cubic feet
3/5

I had a minor setback at first. The freezer had arrived at my house, but it had not yet been delivered. After a few days, I received it and completed all of the instructions. Before connecting it, I let it sit for a day. All day, I had it set to 4 o'clock. The next day, I put some food in it and set the temperature to 7.
. There's a slight issue with this. In the top of the freezer, there isn't a lot of suction. I've built up frost at the top of the freezer in less than four days. I'd already had to use the freezer scraper to get ice off the top inside where it should have been a tight fit. This is something I'll be keeping an eye on. In a couple of weeks, I'll report back on what happens. This freezer will be updated beginning August 1, 2021. Despite the fact that the top seal isn't very tight, it keeps things very cold and appears to be functioning properly. Because of the loose seal, the freezer is probably costing a little more to run, but it still works well. There's a smidgeon of frost near the top, which I'm still clearing every three or four days. The date is August 8th. My freezer's seal is still not working properly. Every couple of days, I have to svrape ice just under the seal on the right hand side. Everything, however, is still frozen to perfection. It is just a little more expensive to run.

This is a fantastic little freezer
5/5

Our kitchen refrigerator/freezer had an overflow problem, and we needed more freezer space. It's difficult to find a freezer of any kind, but this one came up for sale. Reading reviews on other similar-sized freezers revealed a slew of shipping issues and dubious performance. This freezer appeared to arrive in good working order and at a reasonable cost. It came from California (made in China) and, as we followed the shipment's progress, it seemed to take a tour of the United States before arriving in Michigan. It (FedEx) arrived on our porch in perfect condition, with no damage to the shipping box. The packing has been done exceptionally well. I unpacked it, cleaned it, and plugged it into a 120v outlet according to the instructions. It took only a few minutes for it to cool down. I ordered some extra plastic trays from Bino because I couldn't find any inexpensive wire baskets (although it did come with one). For the past three months, the freezer has been operational. It was extremely quiet. It can be heard, but the green and red lights are the primary indicators that it is operating properly. This unit is both functional and attractive. Electricity costs are estimated to be $23 per year.
