Questions & Answers

There is some confusion regarding This is measured. An example of a 20" stove is shown here. There is a description of 26" in the details. How would you answer this question?

There are 20" of space on this range

Are you able to switch this over to propane with the included kit?

Thanks for getting in touch. This item comes with an LP Conversion Kit, yes. We would like to thank the whole Varouj Appliance Team for their hard work and dedication

I have an opening of 20 inches between my cabinets. Can you confirm that it is not more than 20 inches wide? Thanks a lot. ?

Hello, dear reader!!! I just measured this and it is indeed 19 inches. It is 5" wide side to side. It is a beautiful stove and I have had it for a year. The only drawbacks are two small ones. There are two issues here- first, the oven's interior is only 18" wide. Second, the ignition system is poor- the burners just don't spark. Idle control is a kind of "smart" system where the ignition would have to be held in place for a couple seconds to maintain battery power. It has been a great week, other than that.

A great unit for the price
5/5

Propane to LP conversion is easy. I really like the stove! Our yurt house is just the right size for it. This stove contains all the features you find in a full sized stove With just a few little bonuses (backlit dials, clock, timer, oven light, under-oven lighting In the case of the broiler). In my experience, the conversion from natural gas to LPG Propane was fast and easy because the parts were provided and all instructions were clearly explained. I suppose it is reasonable to expect it to take 10 days for free shipping considering it came from the other side of the country and it was around a national It was a pleasure to do business with AM Trucking since communication was clear, accurate, and timely.

Using a design that is thoughtless can be frustrating I do not recommend it
3/5

There is no other range that I have worked with that is as frustrating as this. Though nominally okay, the range suffers from three design flaws that leave me feeling frustrated all the time There are no low temperatures (1) No lower than 300F is allowed in the oven. In the event that something must be slowly cooked Brisket or pulled pork), you cannot use it. On the range, each burner has a flame between High and Medium, and there is no true low flame operation. A different burner is the only way to further reduce the temperature (there are three burners one large, two medium, and one small). Only one small burner can be used at one time since there is only one. (2)The Small burner is located in the front. There should be a small burner in the front, where you would simmer things for a long time. Why is the burner frontal? In fact, I have to reach over the simmering dish to get to the Medium burner at There is a tiny interior oven (4) Small My 20" oven has been around for a while, but I have Despite the size of my cookie sheets, I could fit them. On the other hand, the interior of this oven measures 17" by 13". Approximately 75" tall. Because of the thick walls of the oven and the fact that the rack supports are recessed into the walls instead of sticking out of them, the oven has a large firebox. When ovens are this small, every little thing counts. It matters whether you are 25" or 25". In addition to the above, there are several minor The following is the full text of the sentence At high temperatures (above 400 degrees F), the oven does not work well. You can find both good and bad in the world
4/5

The 24" version of this range fit my aesthetic criteria well (low back guard can be used ), and I particularly liked the placement of the big burner on the left side. It has been about 6 months since I first began using it. Not much of what I cook is from scratch. The best thing to do is to read and reread If you read the instruction manual, for example, you will learn that you need to have the oven door fully open when lighting the oven to avoid the smell of gas. It takes some time to get used to, but so far it's been fine. I like the control of the flame, and the small burner keeps oatmeal at the perfect simmer. The first is that I swabbed the floor underneath the drawer last week and saw the sharp edge running along the front of the drawer when I cut my finger. On my toe today, I stubbed my toe. I believe it is a joint between the steel on the front and the underside of the drawer, not a manufacturing flaw. Still, it is a design of some sort. For example, this could be harmful. The rule applies to anyone who uses bare feet at home, including a child playing nearby. Other problems are that the black enamel hobs are very sensitive to scratches However, even a spill of boiling water permanently stains them so they're not all black and shiny. I found that even a simple puddle is completely uncleanable.

There is no temperature display on the oven
3/5

The following are things I dislike The temperature of the oven cannot be seen on a digital display. It is impossible to determine what temperature the oven is at. A thermometer from the old days has to be used. There is no indication when pre-existing The temperature has reached the optimum level. I HATE it when the back edge becomes a pool of heat. It's a big problem that this unit sticks out at least four inches from the back of the room. One thing I like about it is the blue and red lights on the burner controls, and also the cast iron plate that covers the gas burner.
