In addition to replacing an earlier version of this dishwasher that had finally died, we were concerned since we have custom-made panels on the front that match the rest of our We were unsure how this would work, so we remained uncertain. This was a very easy installation that only took me three hours to complete on my own We installed the knock sensors on our custom panels in four hours. The only real issue I had was with the mounting of the sensors. Since they assume a front panel that sits flush against the metal bracket, we have an indentation right where the sensor is supposed to go, so finding longer screws that didn't damage the wood panel was challenging. It would have been nice to have more flexibility in how the sensor is mounted. In any case, it seems to operate as expected.
This washer does not have any controls or indicators on the outside. Since the earlier model did, we kept the old control panel in place to cover the hole, but it is not linked We like the washer much better than our older model because it seems more solid and works well. There is only one minor glitch there are no indicators on the front, and since it is so quiet, it is impossible to know how much time remains. There is little room for complaint in that respect. Our overall satisfaction with our purchase is excellent.

We loved the double dish drawer for ten years, despite it being made of cheap, flimsy materials. Replacing this older model with this newer one The knock-sensor on the bottom drawer of the computer was not working after installation yesterday. The only way to stop an ongoing wash and open the drawer is by hitting the front panel of the The stupidest thing you can do. It may be easier to put a button on it rather than a poorly functioning sensor. A technician must first be dispatched before the customer service representative is willing to replace the knock sensor. The technician will come out in a week to fix a $1500 dishwasher that is plastic and flimsy. The technician will then order the part, which takes a week to 10 days to arrive, and then I have to wait another week for the technician to install the I find that ridiculous.

The Fisher & Paykel I bought was a good purchase This dishdrawer is by Paykel. I stored it until we completed the construction of our new house. As soon as I installed it, I found it to be The company has sent in the wrong parts over the course of 3 months citing a "warehouse" problem, but they are unwilling to send a new one and just return the old one because it is "used" (I installed it, but have not It's aggravating that I actually have to pay to get my dishwasher fixed after spending so much money purchasing one. It is the worst customer service I have ever experienced!.
