Questions & Answers
Is this just for cutlery and dishes? Isn't it true that these aren't meant to be used with pots and pans?
Yes, in most cases for everyday dishes, cups, and cutlery. I, on the other hand, have no trouble fitting a few small pots and pans into mine. Furthermore, as one respondent put it, "it leaves dishes unfinished and leaks everywhere." My unit has never leaked, and everything is rinsed before being washed in it.
Is it possible to wash large pots and pans if that's all that's in there?
I've had no problems washing a 5 quart pot in mine, as well as the lid; the only thing I haven't been able to wash in it yet are my pizza pans, which are too tall for the inside.

When the unit is turned on, how loud is it?
This machine is very quiet. It can't be called "quiet" because it's a machine, but the sound of it running won't keep you from talking or sleeping at night. I'm afraid I don't know how loud it is.
Selected User Reviews For Countertop Dishwasher, HAVA Portable Dishwashers with 5 L Built-in Water Tank & Inlet Hose, 6 Programs, Baby Care, Air-Drying Function for Small Apartments, Dorms and RVs
I had no idea that countertop dishwashers existed before I bought one. My life flashed before my eyes when I moved into a new apartment that *gasp* didn't have a dishwasher! I know. problems in the first world Anyway, I looked up "portable dishwasher" on Google and came up with this. Actually, I found another with a different brand name, but I realized they were the same models (coming from the same manufacturer/factory in Asia) with different brand names. Was there any doubt in my mind? Yes. Did I really believe I was squandering $300? Yes. Is it true that I was desperate to avoid doing the dishes with my own two hands? Yes. However, I was pleasantly surprised and delighted to be proven incorrect! It washes as well as a full-sized machine. washer that is the right size! It isn't obnoxious in any way! It's made with regular dishwasher soap! It's lit up in a cool purple hue! It has a window, which allows you to gaze at your dishes! Is it possible that I'm obsessed? Yes! br>br>I chose this model because it has a tank that can be filled if you are unable or unwilling to use a faucet. perfect.

Simply buy it! THIS MACHINE, ON THE OTHER HAND
I'm not sure why I haven't bought this before now. I live in a house that was built before the Second World War. I lived in a wartime apartment without a dishwasher, and washing dishes was a constant battle for me. br>br>I had no idea how much this purchase would improve my quality of life, and I strongly advise anyone living in an apartment to do so. br>br>It's a small space- ish, but it didn't fit under my cabinets, so I bought a sturdy microwave cart that works perfectly. I don't use the water hookup, but I have drained the tank using a bucket. A few people mentioned water spillage when filling it, so I devised a clever solution involving a soup container (I agree with them without the hack). Watch the video to learn more. br>br>I can fit a large number of dishes in the washer, making it ideal for a single person or a couple. My mugs are cappuccino mugs, so they fit fine; otherwise, the upper level would be too high for them. However, you can just do a quick wash in the main frame with a bunch of mugs. It's really not a big deal. br>br>When it comes to detergent, I used to use a simple gel, but I've since discovered that Cascade Advanced Power works amazingly well. No lie. I threw in a pot spoon full of dried-on sticky sauce (from Asian food cooking) just for kicks, and the detergent and washer cleaned up beautifully. EXTREMELY FLAWLESS! If you can't tell, that makes me very happy. 😉.

This is the most incredible item I've ever purchased
I despise doing dishes for a variety of reasons: sensory issues, laziness, cutting myself on glasses, and so on. But this? It's a blessing in disguise. I was hesitant to buy this because of the price and the fact that I wasn't sure how it would run on just a tank. I've gone from only doing dishes once a month to using this lovely appliance almost every day. Regardless of the setting I use, it cleans and dries all of my dishes in the time allotted; this machine is incredible and well worth the money. Without a doubt, I'd buy it again. It's incredibly simple to set up, is completely silent, and provides the most effective serotonin boost I've experienced in over two years. It's a definite must-have! br>br>Update after 6 months: This thing is still flawless and as wonderful as the day I received it. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

I Wish I'd Known About These Things Years Ago! I had no idea dishwashers came in such small, compact units, and I'd never owned even a large one
I looked - because I was desperate. Despite the fact that it had few reviews at the time, I bought it out of desperation. br>br>What I expected from this unit:
1. At least three, if not four, place settings should be able to be accommodated.
2. Because my apartment already has a strange attachment to the sink that won't allow something like this, I'd like to have a tank without requiring a sink hookup.
3. I use dishwashing to conserve water.
4. Tupperware needs to be cleaned! I find it difficult to deal with them because they accumulate quickly and I am unable to handle the hot water that is recommended to help remove the grease. Is it capable of doing these things? br>br>Is it capable of performing these tasks? Yes! br>I have a dish set with the square plates, which are quite large. They will not fit in this unit unless I turn them sharply diagonally and fill the entire unit. When I bought it, I was aware that this would most likely be the case because I had seen another reviewer complain about it and had measured it myself. That was fine with me; I only had four of them, and if it could handle all of my bowls and cups, as well as the freakin' Tupperware, I'd be content. br>br>It was well packaged when it arrived. I was initially concerned because the inside had visible water residue and condensation, but I later learned that this was due to factory testing prior to shipping and was not unusual. br>br>Had another moment of worry when any dishes that weren't ceramic (aka, plastic like silverware handles and my nemesis, Tupperware) came out with a white residue on them. It left a fine, powdery fog on them, as well as actual, scrape-like marks. white residue that can be removed I tried something new - My water is extremely hard, it turns out. Despite being recommended for hard water, the Finish Powerball we first tried did not work for me, regardless of how much we used. Cascade Premium was the one that worked. There is no longer any residue! So it wasn't the fault of the unit, and it now works perfectly! br>br>Every day or two, I run this unit. It's fantastic to be able to walk away from the majority of the day's dirty dishes. It's fine to use the dry mode. Water collects and remains on top of the cups, so they don't get completely dry. And, to be honest, I wouldn't have cared if it didn't have one. The sound it makes when it's in dry mode isn't particularly loud, but it's high-pitched, and I don't like it; however, if it bothers me, I can simply turn it off and hang them to dry the old-fashioned way. None of the other modes have been tried by me. It includes a pitcher (it takes about three pitchers to fill the tank) and a fruit-washing basket. The drainage hose is just long enough to keep the unit close to the sink, but not long enough to store it anywhere else. It wouldn't be a problem if I could just leave the unit on my counter, but it won't fit under the cabinets, so I bought a rolling kitchen cart. br>br>Overall, I'm very pleased with it and can only hope it lasts!.
