Yes it is
Go to the frigidaire website and then contact customer service; they will gladly ship you parts if they are available. They'll also take care of any warranty issues you might have. It's possible that they aren't cooperating with virus-control measures. They provided me with excellent service. The small rubber tips that go on the corners of the grates were something I needed to purchase. They offered to send them to me for free. It was a product that was covered by the manufacturer's warranty. good luck
Yes, it appears to be silver brushed. This product meets my expectations and looks wonderful in my kitchen. Jim
Our unit accumulated gas beneath the burners, resulting in a minor explosion. We had no previous experience with rust and only used it for a few days!

READ REVIEWS TO DETERMINE IF THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM. FRIGIDAIRE IS AWARENESS THAT THEIR PRODUCT IS DEFECTIVE, BUT THEY DO NOT APPEAR TO CARE. I BOUGHT 7 AND THEY KEEP BRAKEING, AND I DO NOT THINK YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH AN AFTERMARKET BECAUSE FRIGIDAIRE USE A LONG VALVE STEM THAT IS UNIQUE TO THIS COOKTOP.
BUY THIS PRODUCT AT YOUR OWN RISK! After only four days, After only 5 months of use, four of the five knobs have begun to crack, with one being so badly cracked that it is no longer usable. We contacted the manufacturer, but they have yet to respond to our emails or pick up the phone to speak with me. I've been attempting to contact them for the past seven months. Consider switching to a different product because the knobs from Fridgidaire are $45 EACH.
The stove is very attractive. Powerful. It accomplishes the task at hand. Yes, the knobs have a tendency to break. To keep the knobs from braking, I use a 3/8 copper coupler with Gorilla tape on both sides. 3/8 copper pipe pieces can also be used, but they must be cut to fit. This is something I recommend you do as soon as you unpack the stove. If your stove knobs are already broken, fill the coupler with black plastic cement and make a newer knob using the same copper 3/8 copper couplers.
This cooktop has exceeded my expectations in terms of design and functionality. It appears to be far more expensive than it is, and you should be pleased with your decision. That's for sure.
They're made of plastic, so they won't last long after the first time you use them. The knobs are the source of the issue. When you type in the model number on Frigidaire's website, you'll find that 40 of the 60 reviews have the same problem. The cylinder connecting the knob to the stove is made of plastic and is easily broken. If you're past the 12-week warranty period, Frigidaire will charge you $40 for each knob. AVOID.
This cooktop is one of my favorites. This one is not only more attractive, but it is also more functional, as it sits much higher up than my previous one. So far, there have been no complaints. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> This cooktop "works" fine, but do yourself a favor and purchase the extended warranty! The knobs on the burners broke after about a year, making it impossible to light them. They're made of cheap plastic, and because of the longer shaft, replacements are difficult to come by. I was able to recoup the cost thanks to the warranty, and I was able to locate an ignition key online, which I now use to start the burners. Aside from that, it's still fantastic.
Three of the five knobs have broken off in less than two months. Basically, it's just cheap plastic. br>It was a good deal, but I'll be returning it. br>I was under the impression that all cooktops had electronic ignition burners - this was not the case. i. e. , if the flame goes out, the igniter will re-ignite it. This, as well as many other cooktops, are not like that. As you move the knob from off to on/high, the igniter will only click away. br>I also had problems with the side hold down clips not fitting - Because of the design, it is basically unusable.
My husband and I were able to install it in 30 minutes because it was plug and play! It's been a few months since I've used it. I put off reviewing for a long time. The flames are ideal for a variety of applications, from large to small. . . . it adjusts without a hitch. Given that these cost over $1200 at my local store, this is a fantastic deal. Don't think twice about it.
