The only issue I had with it was that one of the burners stopped working, so I ordered a replacement element, which was simple to install. When another burner stopped working, I decided to replace it because the cook top had been ruined by years of heavy use. I chose the Profile model because, while it cost more, the warranty was longer than the comparable non-Profile model, and I thought the warranty was a better value. They are nearly identical, with the exception that the Profile includes a child lock. The new cooktop has larger burners than my old GE Profile, and the sizes are distributed differently than before, which I prefer. I looked all over for the best deal, and Amazon came out on top. I was blown away when the cooktop arrived three days after I placed my order. It's very simple to put together, and unlike my old cooktop, it has a foam gasket around the edge, which means that if something boils over, it won't run under the cooktop.
The product was delivered in perfect condition. The cooktop's footprint is just right for our small counter. It's simple to maintain. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a space saver because the two cooking ranges are very powerful for a cooktop of this size.

A very nice quality cooktop that is both beautiful and functional. This cooktop was nearly three years old when we purchased it. It has a lovely, simple, clean appearance, with no nooks and crannies to collect dirt and make other cooktops difficult to clean. We aren't professional chefs, so we don't require a massive industrial-style cooktop. This cooktop is ideal for our requirements. WARNING: The control knobs can be removed to clean them, according to the owner's manual. The four larger round knobs that control the heating elements are true, but the two smaller "selector" and "control lock" knobs are not. Remove them only if absolutely necessary. You won't be able to put them back on snugly.
